MAS DEL CIGARRER | Restaurant i allotjament rural a Horta de Sant Joan a la Terra Alta

Located near the entrance to Els Ports Natural Park, in the municipality of Horta de Sant Joan, and at 5.5 km from the village centre, Mas del Cigarrer puts at your disposal two houses with a total capacity for 21 people (the “MAS PETIT”, which is smaller, and the “MAS NOU”, recently opened). All rooms have their own bathroom and are offered on BED & BREAKFAST or HALF BOARD basis.
The bed & breakfast rate includes a continental breakfast, with homemade pastries. You can also order a traditional breakfast including tomato bread, ham, cured sausages and cheeses, for an additional € 4.00.
For dinner a daily menu is offered, consisting of various dishes to choose from. Catalan cuisine with prime-quality ingredients.

HOUSE I: THE ‘MAS PETIT’
Two storey house.
It consists of a ground-floor fully equipped apartment with a bathroom, kitchen, living room and two double bedrooms, and an upper floor (outside entrance) with a double room (for 2 people) and a family room (for 4 people), each with its own bathroom.
You can rent the apartment or any of the rooms separately, or choose to rent the entire house (10-12 places in total) and use the kitchen at your convenience. TV in the apartment only. Free WI-FI.

CASA II “MAS NOU”
Refurbished house opened in September 2010, with four double bedrooms and one triple bedroom, each with its own bathroom. Large common living room with plenty of sunlight. Three of the rooms are accessible for people with reduced mobility. This house does not have TV, but free Wi-Fi is provided.

Traditional cuisine with prime-quality ingredients: olive oil and DO Terra Alta wines, fruit and vegetables, honey and sausages from local suppliers. Seasonal local products.
The dining room has a capacity for 40 diners, and we have a space upstairs for groups of up to 80 people, ideal for meetings and celebrations of all kinds. RESERVATION IS REQUIRED FOR GROUPS.
Extensive choice of spirits, with over 50 references of whisky.

LUNCH
Lunch served from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Open from Thursday to Sunday.

DINNER
Dinner served from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Open Friday and saturday night, long weekends and days before holidays*

*From 1 July to 15 September, open daily at lunch and dinner time.
